Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Michelle Close Photography. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before booking or browsing.
1. Services
We provide photography services including, but not limited to: family, maternity, couples, boudoir, branding, and wedding sessions. All services are subject to availability and confirmation of booking.
2. Booking & Payment
A non-refundable retainer is required to secure your session date.
Remaining balances due 48 hours before the session date unless otherwise agreed. Wedding package balances are due 30 days prior to wedding day.
Pricing is subject to change without notice but will be honored once a booking is confirmed.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Retainers are non-refundable.
One reschedule is allowed per booking, subject to availability. A second reschedule is subject to an additional retainer fee.
4. Image Delivery & Usage
Edited images from regular sessions will be delivered within 2-4 weeks of the session. Wedding galleries will be delivered within 8-12 weeks.
We retain the right to use images for portfolio, website, and social media unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Clients receive personal-use rights; commercial use requires separate licensing and pricing.
5. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for arriving on time and prepared for the session.
Photographer is not responsible for missed moments due to client tardiness or uncooperative behavior.
6. Copyright
All images are copyrighted by Michelle Close Photography. Clients may not alter or edit images without written consent.
7. Limitation of Liability
While we take great care to deliver high-quality work, we are not liable for circumstances beyond our control (weather, venue restrictions, etc.). In the rare event of equipment failure or other unforeseen issues, liability is limited to the return of all payments received.
8. Privacy
Client information is kept confidential and will never be sold or shared. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of California.
